Ancient Chinese Portrait
This image is inspired by the Chinese painting technique known as Gongbi. I applied Gongbi’s technique to create a serene feeling through the character’s glory and flawless skin tone. Additionally, I blended a more modern gelled down “Baby Hair”. The photo was published in PhotoVogue Vogue Italy and was name “The Best of PhotoVogue”.

The image is inspired by photographer Sarah Moon’s technique of using color blocks and blurry body to show motion and movement. PhotoVogue in Vogue Italy published the photo and named it among “The Best of PhotoVogue”.

Taken in Dali, China, two cleaning workers were resting by Erhai Lake. The color of their outfits and their posture blended perfectly with the environment.
